We don’t want to look ahead, but there are times when preparations take precedence. The last two years we have had organized efforts to utilize spirit noise makers for the Monon Game. The last time we traveled to Crawfordsville, we shocked the Little Giant’s faithful and excited our young warriors with the black and gold thundersticks. Last year we had the horns and small noise makers. We had enough noise makers to pass out to families, friends and students alike to show our Tiger Spirit.
However, the cost of providing was basically absorbed by a small group of parents each year. This year’s organizers, Deb Evans (mother of Senior #15, Nate) and Linda Brown (mother of Junior #74, Lewis) have proposed utilizing a donation jar at the Back Row tailgate the next two Saturdays for donations to help with purchasing noise makers for the Bell game. Look for the jar and consider assisting with these spirit building efforts. If you have ideas for this year, please let Deb or Linda know personally or by posting a Comment here in the blog.
