Yo Adrian….your turn to feel the Tiger Punch!!!!

We step out of conference and face the Adrian (MI) Bulldogs for the first time in the program’s more than 100 year history. The Bulldogs are 2-3, but two of their losses have come against top 15 ranked opponents including #1 and defending national champion UW-Whitewater. This could be a statement game for national exposure. No let-up needed before we hit he road next week vs our arch-enemy Trinity University in San Antonio.

Great crowd for Old Gold Day, but rather quiet. After jumping out to the 28-0 half-time lead it appeared that everyone fell asleep in the 3rd quarter before re-grouping in the 4th for a rather business-like 42-18 victory and sole possession of first place in the SCAC.

The Back Row was very active again Saturday. Super crowd with lots of family and friends visiting and partaking in the common-area tailgate. Wish we could have meet more new families!!!!!

The food selections Saturday were great. Super Mom Bev Karazsia’s Hot Dog Menu Board and hot dog buffet was the highlight of the week along with the giant pretzel by Aunt Barb Branigan from Cincinnati!! Who is going to step up this week?

We will again follow our normal routine this weekend. Only 3 home games left! We will start about 8:30; Tiger Walk about 10:30; Game @ 1:00 and the fighting Tigers joining us after the game like always!!!

MONON TICKET UPDATE - The sale of DePauw's allotment of tickets for this year's Monon Bell football game at Wabash begins on Monday, October 25 at 8:30 a.m. EST.

Tickets, which are $15 each, must be purchased online with a credit card. There will be no in-person, mail-in or phone sales this year. Again this year, you are limited to 8 tickets per order. Both DePauw and Wabash sell tickets that limit seating to their respective sides of the field ONLY. There is no sitting on the DePauw side with a Wabash ticket and vice versa.

The on-line address is: www.depauw.edu/e/ath/mononbell/cc_form.asp

Although we have not received formal direction this year, historically this is what has happened in the past:

• Each player will be provided up to 4 complimentary tickets. If you are not planning on attending, please think about sharing your allotment with other parents as most of us, especially seniors will be looking for additional tickets. NOTE - it is vs NCAA regulations to sell complimentary tickets. Guilty players can face sanctions if discovered.

• Temporary seating is brought in to accommodate about 10,000+ people and the game will sell out rather quickly if it follows the norm.

As we obtain 2010 info from Coach we will post and let you know.

The Monon Spirit Jar will again be at the Back Row. Deb Evans and Linda Brown are planning for this year’s version of our spirit surprise.

GO TIGERRS!!!!!!

Roger
