TIGER WALK

One of the growing traditions at DePauw Football has become Tiger Walk. This is where the players march as a team with coaches and staff from the Lilly Center on campus into the stadium. They depart from Lilly about 10:30 and walk straight down Hannah Street. Hannah is the main entrance to the stadium parking lots.

Parents and students line the street especially near the stadium entrance and clap for our soon to be combating Tigers. The players will stop right in front of the Upper Lot and sing the DePauw Fight Song in their unique manner before heading into the stadium to get dressed and taped.

It is a great photo op and maybe, if you are lucky enough, get a quick hug or kiss in. If you can arrange your travel plans, you should try to be there by 10:30 to share in the event. You won’t regret the sacrifice to get there a little early.

We are also attempting to engage the student body more, cheerleaders and other members of the Tiger Nation to build this very special event each football Saturday. The players look forward to seeing a large gathering and trust me, you will find it to be one of the most unique and memorable events you will experience during your DePauw Football experience.

WHETHER YOU ARE PARTICIPATING IN THE GROUP BACK ROW TAILGATE OR ARE DOING YOUR OWN THING, PLEASE JOIN US TO CHEER ON THE TEAM AS THEY WALK FROM LILLY CENTER TO BLACKSTOCK STADIUM!

Please begin lining Hannah Street outside of Blackstock Stadium no later than 10:30 a.m. EST.

HOPE TO SEE YOU ALL SATURDAY MORNING AT TIGER WALK

GO TIGERS!!!
